This mask is a fashion accessory and protects you only from droplet infection
The slit on the inside of the mask is part of the design. You can use a handkerchief or alike item and insert it as an additional filter.
This mask is NOT as medical product, nor a N-95 filter.
The mask should not be used in a surgical setting, in a clinical setting where the infection risk level through inhalation exposure is high.
